Lietuvos Energija provides electricity transmission and system services necessary to ensure operation of the electricity system, i.e. system balancing and necessary reserve, regulation of voltage and reactive power, frequency control and dispatch of flows between interconnected systems.
The distribution network operators and customers supplied with electricity from the transmission grid pay for the transmission service at the tariffs and prices effective from January 1, 2009 with non-preferential price of transmission service being LCT2.4/kWh.
Transmission service prices (VAT excluded) by types of services provided to distribution companies and customers who receive electricity from the transmission grid:
|
Differentiated two-component prices charged by the transmission system operator: |
|
|
capacity component, when the ownership boundary is between 330-110 kV voltage equipment |
6.35 LTL/kW per month |
|
capacity component, when the ownership boundary is between 35-6 kV voltage equipment |
10.98 LTL/kW per month |
|
energy component, when the ownership boundary is between 330-110 kV voltage equipment |
1.23 LTC/kWh |
|
energy component, when the ownership boundary is between 35-6 kV voltage equipment |
1.68 LTC/kWh |
|
Differentiated price for the capacity reserve service – capacity component |
7.69 LTL/kW per month |
| Public service obligations |
6.58 LTC/kWh |
Distribution network operators and customers supplied from the transmission grid, when paying for the transmission service, make the following payments:
- Differentiated price of the transmission system operator’s service (LTC/kWh) for the actual amount of the transmitted quantity of electricity and LTL/kW per month for their maximum actual hourly demanded capacity per month (including electricity generated by their own resources and received directly from producers, except for renewable and excess energy resources);
- Differentiated price of capacity reserve service (LTC/kWh) for the maximum actual hourly demanded capacity per month (including electricity generated by their own resources and received directly from producers, except for renewable and excess energy resources);
- A set public service obligations price (LTC/kWh) for the actual amount of transmitted electricity
Public suppliers selling electricity to customers whose equipment is connected to the transmission grid apply public tariffs less the prices charged for electricity transmission and capacity reserve services.
